Interim VS Full

Listed below are both kinds of services offered here at DD Autos. Both services are beneficial to any vehicle and need doing at the specified times and mileages outlined by the vehicles manufacturer. All prices for our services are based on the vehicle as we will source all parts beforehand and outline the worst possible scenario for you so there are no nasty surprises. Interim Service

  • Check steering for pull/vibration

  • Check brakes for juddering/pulling

  • Check all lights operation and replace bulbs if necessary

  • Check all levels of fluid and top up if necessary

  • Supply and fit new oil filter

  • Drain old oil and fill vehicle with new engine oil

  • Check seatbelts

  • Check operation and condition of wiper blades and motors

  • Check washer jet operation

  • Check condition of auxiliary belt and advise if needs changing

  • Check condition of cambelt and advise if needs changing

  • Check dashboard for warning lights and record if any show

  • Check power steering reservoir

  • Check wheel alignment

  • Check steering gaiters, joints and dustcovers

  • Check inner and outer driveshaft gaiters

  • Check prop shaft, and all suspension components

  • Check wheel bearings for any noise or play

  • Check and ensure all tyres are the correct size and fit

  • Check tyre tread, depth and fitment 

  • Check the vehicle has the correct spare tyre for the make and model

  • Check that tyre inflation foam date

  • Check operation of clutch 

  • Check operation of shock absorbers and road springs

  • Check and adjust tyre pressures

  • Check condition of brake pads, shoes drums and discs against minimum requirements for safe driving

  • Check condition of callipers and cylinders of the wheels

  • Check handbrake operation and linkages

  • Check exhaust system, ensure it is correctly fitted and secure

  • Check anti-freeze strength

  • Reset vehicle service light 

  • Road test vehicle

Full Service

  • Check steering for pull/vibration

  • Supply and fit spark plugs (petrol car only)

  • Check seatbelts

  • Check condition of auxiliary belt and advise if needs changing
